Interesting expierences, I have never met the GW while hunting but a few years ago while scalloping in Niantic Bay Connecticut the gw came by. I had less than the best viewing equipment. You look through a view box in 10' of clear water and scoop them one at a time. I had a very poor home made rig. I had just dropped my glkasses overboard when the GW came up. By the way you are drifting at a pretty good speed. He not only used his top of hte line viewer to help me for an 1/2 hour or so when we didden't find the glasses he had to leave and gave me his $100+ viewer to use and told me to drop it off at his boat dock when I was done. Ther eare nice GWs. Striper Phil Hope some one tells me how to post a picture, got a 10 point 200lb on Saturday!!!
