It's always been a tradition at our camp to hang our deer out on the meat pole. Everyone drives around after the first day of rifle season to check out what the other camps got. This was our best season in Pike county PA (2003). There was one more buck my 12 yr old cousin shot after this picture was taken. All the deer were shot on State Game land.

it seems like too much work to hang them that high on the pole just to show em off. just do what they do around here. drive around town with it hangin off your truck lol. but great harvest and nice deer especially for state land

I've got quite a few with small bucks and does from WV. I've always enjoyed hunting there until the farmer was killed in a farm accident.

No meat poles here,just meatheads. if we display a deer in our community the cops are called and we are told to cover it .Not allowed in our community.Offends the sidewalk sissies
