Pre-rut buck tips?

I've found a place where deer are qutie active. I have many trails and fresh tracks daily. I need some advice on how to approach this as an archer. Is it best to sit and wait, or do i need to rattle?

I would sit for at least an hour before starting to rattle.Are you in a treestand or on the ground?If you are on the ground make sure the wind is in your favor.Rattle for a minute then get ready because you could bring a buck in fast.
