New Hunting Season / New Hunting Items
#1

I thought of all of the deer huntin' gear that I have.
To name a few; three bows, seven guns, four camo outfits, three pair of binoculars, four pair of huntin' boots, eight portable tree stands, three knives and a couple of saws and etc...
The list goes on. It borders on being ridiculous. What more do I need. I was wondering what " New Hunting Item " you guys might be in the market for this " New Hunting Season?"
I'm thinking about trying to see just how much less I can spend this season. After all, last year I was in the woods over fifty days...
I don't want to hinder any of my plans or expectations, but do I have to spend big bucks to get Big Bucks? Does this make deer sense?
Side note: Whatcan you do to save money?

The only thing besides the usual semi-disposable items is a new portable heater. And that is only if it ends up looking like it will be exceptionally cold during rifle season. (I have spent too many 0 deg, 20mph wind days in the stand to go without one again)

I've only been hunting a few years so I'm still gathering up items to make me a more round, better prepared hunter. Some of the bigger items I want to get this year are: a Summit climbing stand (either Razor SS or Viper SS), fleece cargo pants for archery, wool pants....I'm getting sick of my Bibs if you can't tell......and I would like to get a pair of LaCross AlphaBurly Sport boots w/ 1000 g of insulation. I have the uninsulated ones, and they are great. Plus my insulated boots are dying on me, so its time to replace them anyhow. Those are the bigger items, but I'm sure there are a ton of little things that I will get as well; broadheads, scents, etc.

That is a nice lookin' knife... At what cost did you purchase that particular one?

Ohhh There is plenty of toy's and what we call gear out there it seem's like they are always coming up with something.
Like that new BUCK GROWLER from the DUREY BOY'S of M. A. D. Calls, I gotta get me one of those.
No matter how much we have or what we think we need it's never enough, its like an obsesson.
I think I might have to go to REHAB!
