I have a gift certificate for Amazon and I want to buy a couple books on hunting whitetails. I have heard the Benoits have a good book. An input. Thanks in advance. I live and hunt in NYS.

Benoits have a good book if your into tracking. I think the best deer hunting book I have read so far was called something like "Hunting the super buck". I can't remember exactly, I rented it from a library and haven't got around to purchaseing it yet myself. One of my favorite parts of the book takes you through a deer's life from his perspective and what he does to survive and how he gets nailed by a hunter. Kind of helps you think more like a deer. Lots and lots of into in it.
