Tough Situation Up in the NE

The Southlandbasically DETERMINES the new rules and regulations that determine antler restrictions when it comes to harvesting bucks. Brian Murphy of QDMA fame and Southron heritage decided tocreate antler restrictions and so it is done - simple as that. He has THAT much power. I called it and told y'all.

In the beginning he said he did not want it but then decided that Northern states needed some guidance and that the Southwould be fine. And THEN CONTACTED THE DNR OFFICIALS OF ALL YANKEE STATES and told them that he was in favor of antler restrictions in those specific states. And now it has been passed. In the papers. That is exactly what I have been talking about. Currently, the entire Southis the epitome of greatness when it comes to whitetail herd development and management. Top tier. Excellence. Tim Tebow.Florida, specifically, has the power to get things done and make decisions. Simply put, if a Yankeehad contacted the DNR Officials down here in the deep Southand told them, "......Listen, I have thought about it and would like to have a system whereby each Southern state must abide by certain antler restrictions....." then you would have a reply something like, "Oh, really? Listen here very closely, yellow bellied Yank, tell you what, go back to New Jerseyand practice your marksmanship and shovel some snow, ok." I told you guys time and time again that Yanks are digging their own grave and that it is disastrous. Painful to watch and I am quite honestly concerned about the situation up there.Yanks are in a panicandmany becomingsnake oil men.Knee-jerk reactionsand you see what has happened with the innerhunter problems, constant bickering , the warty and tumerous growthdisaster, and deer leaving the north heading full steam ahead for the Mason-Dixon line. Saw 4 deer yesterday afternoon on the side of a remote Florida HWY and they were noticablyout of place....why? Because they were immigrants, just arrived from New Jersey and transfered down here.I called it and told you guys AS SOON AS IT HAPPENED.

Guys, I love hunting and want those folks up north to get it together for the betterment and future of the sport. You think I like being the bearer of bad news on the boards like this? NO. I would much rather be writing a report on the growth of whitetail herd development all over the country, but the situation up in the northeast mainly, leaves me little other choice. Again, I WANT THE TROUBLESOME SITUATION TO CHANGE and get better and will be here to help in whatever way possible. Just want to get the message out.

Guys, I hope this weekend comes shortly for you and that you are able to plan some quality time in the outdoors spent with loved ones who you hold dear to your heart. That would be demand it.

I did see 3 deer on the side of the highway last night. I just didn't realize they were heading for Florida.
Thanks for the update

Blah blah blah blah..

Whitetails tend to be larger in the northern states. An adult white-tail buck (male) from northern states may exceed 136kg (300lbs) and stand 100cm (40in) at the shoulder; a typical adult buck from Florida weighs about 56kg (125lbs) and the average adult female (doe) weighs about 43kg (95 lbs). Adult Florida deer are about 90cm (36in) tall. Deer raised in the south tend to be smallest of all: the Florida Key deer is one of the smallest of all 30 subspecies of white-tailed deer. They typically weigh less than 39kg (80lbs) with a shoulder height of about 70cm (27in). Only the Coiba Island white-tail (O. v. rothschildi) , which occurs off the Pacific Coast of Panama, is smaller.

RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
