Ok, I went up built the food plot pen, planted, put up a feeder........worked like a dog. A dirty dog. .......got my feeder cam working and still NO deer on the pictures. The whitetail food plot looks great. Plants are green and growing well.....Now on the camera, 36 pictures......is only lasting like 2 or 3 days max........I get coons all night and squirrels in the morning.........how long should it take for the deer to find the food plot/feeder?

I'm gonna move the camera off the feeder and just take pictures of the food plot......too many critters at the feeder.

I dont know how it is in texas but in my part of MI the deer have all kinds off food on the ground in the spring and it keeps them spread out.

I had land down in south texas in the 80's. I like a dummy put out apples and chased the deer away.They smelled them ,snorted and run away not to come back till I removed all the apples. That was like trying to attracked a yankee with grits. the deer down there never seen a apple and it spooked them.
