IL rut Question?
 

Alright I have a question. First being im from IL Im debating on when i should start using my grunt and antlers. A buddy said since its getting colder than usual the rut comes quicker. Its end of october and im used to rut being in mid november what do you IL hunters think?

In my area, it seems that the pre rut is kicking in. My buddy has seen a buck chasing a day on the property I hunt.

I did some rattling last week and brought in a nice fat doe, couldn't get the shot off, but she came straight in and got down wind looking for me.
