I have left my climber on the tree a lot.I have taken deer from the climber and go back the next day and taken another.
so I don't think it spookst them to muck?????

I always leave mine in the woods. I always spray it with scent killer before I leave. Haven't had problems seeing deer. If it doesn't move and doesn't smell they won't spook.

My hunting buddy has a climber and he leaves it on the base of the tree occassionally when hunting the same area for more than one day. It's a bit quieter to get set up if it's already there.
I think he uses scent killer on it, but regardless, he sees a fair amount of deer.
Personally, I have a hang-on stand, which is noisy and time-consuming to set up. If I had a climber instead, I would probably take it home every night because after messing with my hang-on, a climber would be pretty hassle-free.
