Default Persistance Pay's Off

Two hunting seasons ago I had a new knife (Given to Me as a present)
I let my son use it,well he lost it during tracking a deer.
I kidded him about it(in good nature)
I liked the knife so much I bought a new one.
Well this past season my son had my new knife with him,Yes he lost that one.
Well I have been out looking for both of the knives since their loss on occasion's.with the metal detector.
Since the snow has finally melted I decided to go out looking.
Well today I found the second knife that was lost.
I felt so good about finding that one,I went to the area that the first knife was lost and sure enough I found it.
Well if anything I have a matching pair of hunting knives.
I did buy my son his own hunting knife for christmas,So I guess my household won't be short of hunting knives.

My buddy is always losing things and I always seem to find them. This year it was a release, deer call, watch and a bow rope.

LOL! Good job with the find. About 5 years ago, I met up with a guy in the darkness of morning in a store parking lot. We went upa mountain from there and when we got to our spot 20 minutes later, I realized my tailgate was open and my brand new Encore muzzleloader was gone! I had to drive all the way back tothe lot in the snow and was thankful it was still there. I would have figured someone found it by then, but got lucky. Of course now I make sure the tailgate is latched properly.

LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This reminds me of young man i used to hunt with, Every time this poor kid went in the woods he lost something. Gloves, hats, knives, 2 way radios, coats. I cant even name all the things hes lost and dont know how much of it he got back, but it sure does make me laugh thinking about it. I dont know if he still has this problem i havent seen him in a few years but he sure did catch hell around the camp fire. And kids wonder why they always get the hand-me-downs. LOL.............
