RE: game ear
Bill hit the nail on the head, our hearing works best in stereo, both ears hearing at the same level, this is how our minds determine which direction a sound is coming from. I spent my money on a Game ear, and learned a leason, oh sure, you can hear lots of things that you wouldn't normally, but do you want to hear that squirrel digging for nuts a hundred yards away, do want the breeze to sound like a hurricane is coming. Just think of it like this, when your hunting now, and you think you hear something, but can't see it, DRIVES YA NUTS DOESN'T IT, now, put in a bionic ear, and multiply the "I THINK I HEARD SOMETHING" It looks good on paper, but I tryed to give mine away, it was returned, then I threw it in the trash!! It wasn't for me!
