Attracting Deer late season.
 

I am going archery mule deer hunting here in Arizona next weekend and wondered if anyone could give me some advice on attracting deer during the late season. Are items like scents still effective although the mating and rutting is done? If so, what scents would you suggest. Any help on getting me my first deer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Most mule deer hunting is spot and stalk so bring some binos. Attracting deer once they have been hunted is pretty tough. Cover scents like earth or pine are always useful. Good luck

Thanks for the info. I pretty much figured they would be ineffective, just wanted to know for sure. I have a nice set of bino's I bought for rifle season and I am buying a tri-pod for them before I go.
