Can't beat the Remington 742 woodsmaster simi auto chambered for .308 win. It is without a doubt the best rifle I have ever shot I use Remington core-lokt 180grn poppers to knockem down and out. I also love my winchester 30-30. with a lil 150grn popper it will do the job with hardley any kick. Love em' both but the Woodsmaster is just bad arse.;)BTW for all you unlucky souls who didn't get a chance to own one of these fire spitters Remington is releasing the 750 woodsmaster this year I know it's not quite the same ("They don't make em' like they used to") but at least you'll be able to get your hands on the second best rifle ever made. :D:D:D:D

Too hard to choose. I guess my favorite big game rifle right now is my Savage 16BSS accutrigger .300 wsm. Very accurate.

I don't have the box,but I do still have the gun,and this pic is how I remeber the box when I got it...The gun that started it all for me..
I shot more birds and cats in the A$$ than I could ever do with real ammo... Why do you think the bird flu was absent in the early 70s...It was because of me and my cuz kept the population in check...
