troubles!!!
I am having trouble tryin to find an area to hunt this season in peoria county, IL. I dont know how I should go about finding somewhere to huntany advice or people willing to let me hunt.?
Thanks |
RE: troubles!!!
My advice would be to look around for land. Then i would get the adress andmeet the land owner. I would write a formal letter out. Ask for permission to hunt the property. Also make sure you tell him/her that you will put safty first and make sure all the laws/regulations will be followed. Thats one thing that mite help youout.

RE: troubles!!!
Why not hunt Sandridge Forest, Jubilee, Makinaw, Banner Marsh or Springlake? They are all free and offer great hunting spots. They are within 1 hour from Peoria. You could always contact a leasing agent.

RE: troubles!!!
I'm not from around Peoria but I had an internship there this past summer and I went with one of my coworkers to Jubilee State Park quite often. Wecovered a lot of ground. There is plenty of ground to hunt, but it is hard to distance yourselffrom horse trails. We did glass a few real nice bucks(130's or so)on the north side of the park. Just a little information.
