RE: How old is this buck? (pic)
I guess 1 1/2. Rack bases look small and the back looks to be flat.

My guess would be 1-1/2 yrs young

RE: How old is this buck? (pic)
I'd say 1 1/2. looks like an average 1 1/2 year old. The body doesn't look that old, to me anyway.

Not sure about your area but in this part of the world this buck would not be more than 1 1/2 yrs old. depends on genetics and food fr your part of the world but even then would not expect much past this age. good luck

RE: How old is this buck? (pic)
I would guess around 2 1/2 years old at the oldest .

RE: How old is this buck? (pic)
I shot a deer in NJ 2 yrs ago that looked similar--white around eyes/etc and a small tight rack. He was aged at 2 1/2.

RE: How old is this buck? (pic)
In states with small deer, like NJ, he may be 2.5, but in Iowa or any state with a healthy herd, and big deer, he's 1.5. He doesn't look like an older deer on his way out to me. The white around his nose would be way up his face in that case. Just an average, or slighttly small, for Iowa, 1.5yr old.
