Charged me or so I thought. I guess it was running dead but didn't know it. After I shot it at 50 yards it ran right at me and when it got close I stepped behind a tree and shot from the hip when it ran past at 3 feet. I still can't believe it but I MISSED at 3'. Any way it dropped dead in about 20 yards before I could get off another shot.

Well this isnt about a deer, but i was squirrel hunting with my dad one time. We looked ahead of us and saw a squirrel hoppin around in some bushes. When i shot, he bolted right at me and ran inbetween me legs. I only had a single shot 410 so i just watched him run down over the hill right behind me. Maybe he was dazed or just a really stupid squirrel.
