deer stands

Hey all. I am new to the site. Lots of good stuff I have seen so far. Just bought into deep South Texas lease where the brush is thick and am in need of a tower blind or deer stand that sits 10ft+ off the ground. There are no "big trees" (for a tree stand) in South Texas, only scrub and Mesquite trees.

Without spending an arm and a leg, does anyone have info on used blinds or someone trying to unload one? I am in South Central TX and can travel to pick up (within reason) or pay shipping.

welcome to the boards, I would look into one of those elevated tripod stands. You can get them a bass pro or cabela's. They may be a little spendy, but probably worth it in the long run, good luck.

if you don't wanna spend the $300 bucks or so on a tri pod stand, build a permanent condo stand. 4 4x4's, a few 2x4's and a sheet or two of 3/4" plywood should do the trick
