I'm thinking about getting these binos......
Hey guys! I'm considering buying some Cabela's Alaskan Guide 8X42 binos for scouting and for hunting. I want to replace my Bushnell 10X50's. I can't even tell whether it's a buck or not at 200 yds with these things[&:]. I need good binos. Has anybody had any experience with these? How does their clarity and low light- long distance compare against optics of similar price($400-$600)?

My suggestion is if you're going to shell out the big bucks, you might as well get a pair of Swarovski's and be done with it. I've looked through a lot of binoculars (although not the Cabela's Alaskan Guide) and I have yet to hold a pair of anything else I thought was as good.
