Believe me, I considered it. Its funny how on some hunts, expectations go down quick when injuries occur.
Day1:Nothing but a Jim Shockley monster
Day2:Nothing but 50" bulls
Day3:Nothing but 40" bulls but still came here to drop a nice bull. Fell in the stream today, very cold.
Day4:Sprained one ankle , but wrapped tight, will take abull
Day5:ankle pain still bad, but pain forgotten from pulling my hip, but thinking about dropping any bull, maybe a cow if all is right
Day6:If its brown its down

I saw a few moose. But all out 1000 yards or more. I have had successful hunts since then. But won't forget that failure.
