RE: Texas hunting rules?
Your questions are too numerous to answer for me. The easiest way for you to find out the answers to these (and many others) is to pick up a Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations booklet. They are free anywhere firearms/ammuntion/licenses are sold. Even Walmart!

RE: Texas hunting rules?
i can answer some of your questions...
for the hunters ed question, it depends on where you are hunting. if its private land then you dont need hunters ed, but most public land in texas requires it. i know the land i hunt does.
as for what guns you can use, i know you definately can not use a .22, but im not sure exactly how big the gun has to be.
age doesnt really matter, unless again, youre on public land. but on private land it really doesnt matter.
another thing about the guns, most public land in texas doesnt allow rifle hunting. i just wanted to make sure that you knew that.
definately go to your local walmart or academy or oshmans or anything like that and pick up an Outdoor Annual. it will be very helpful and help keep you safe.
