I there a way where i can hunt on state game lands or do i have to spend big bucks to get a guide? I live in NJ so i know nothing about them but i have always wanted to go hunting for them. Thanks sniper

Where did you want to go hunting for them Sniper? You realize they are nto native to teh united states and only live on gane reserves and private ranches, correct? If you want to shoot a free range axis deer my guess is that you will have to go to Texas, if you wanna shoot one in a pen you could go to a game preserve in PA.
