If any of you are like me, no matter how much you think you know, you're always trying to learn more. Seems that reading is a great way to do that.
I did a search at our local library and came across a book called "Shots At Whitetails"...a deer hunting classic. It's by Lawrence R. Koller and was initially written back in 1948, but is in it's 3rd reprint by one of his sons. It's listed as a "classic series" by Deer and Deer Hunting Magazine. It really is a great read by a man who obviously spent a lot of time in the woods learning about and in persuit of the same animal that we all seem to be so taken by. It covers a wide variety of topics...too many to mention here.
It's a fun and educational read filled with knowledge and stories that can make you feel like you're actually in the big woods with the author.I highly recommend it.

I bough a copy of Shots at Whitetails several years ago in a yard sale. I consider it one of my best buys. I have read it a couple of times.
