They were one of the earliest with spring gobbler season..had a couple days season back in the 60's.
I used to do a lot of ramblin up and down the Altamaha River in that area yrs. ago. Had a friend who had a cabin right across the river from Bullard's Creek.

Wow... I'm almost embarassed to post this pic compared to these deer on here. Congrats to all. There are many once in a lifetime deer here!

This is my biggest. He is an 8 pt I shot with the muzzleloader in 2003.
