about 10 to 11 in the good spots sometimes up to 20 and normally a cowhorn i only saw on buck over a cowhorn this year and that 8 is going on the wall

We had does coming out of our ears in oklahoma this year. We only saw 2 bucks and I shot one of them. EJ

Used to see dozens now we see 4 -10 a day!! It sucks!

I put 40 because there was no higher number:D. The last few years we have seen from 75 to 100 a day. We hunt on the prairie in SD. When the deer come out of the breaks to feed in the late afternoon, they come in herds of 30 to 50 as a rule. You can set up on a high point with a spotting scope and see bunches of deer miles away. If you seee a big buck you can try to figure a way to get close enough for a shot. The glass and stalk method works well. However its all private land so you need to get permission as all land in SD is considered posted unless you get advance ok. There isa no tresspass law in SD. I have a little land there and know some nieghbors who let me hunt theirs. Right now its a mule deer bonanza. Mild winters for several years and a big die off of coyotes from Mange have caused an explosion in the deer population.

I have bought 8 tags both of the last two years and filled them all with no problem. I could have bought ten but don't have freezer space for that many.

averaged five for the entire bow season. saw as many as 18 in rifle one day. right up until the end of november. I saw 14 in archery the first day.

i didn't vote because it depends. hunting management area's, i have been weeks without seeing one deer. then some days you'll see 5 or more.

when bow hunting on average i saw 1 to 2 doe's a day and a buck every know and then during rifle somewhere around 10 a day

I would have to depend on where I hunt and for what kind of deer I'm hunting for. I hunt in Alberta and when im in the woods i'll see anywhere from 0-10 whitetails a day but when i'm hunting the plains i'll see anywhere from 50-150 Mulies but i usually hunt the wooded area so about 0-10
