Winter Rye Grass
 
I know that most everyone uses corn as a bait but has anyone ever tryed planting winter rye grass? ur advice is greatly appreciated

Do it if it will grow, it is like gravy up here. If we find a good fall rye crop we hunt the snot out of it. Rye, Alfer, peas, barley all are high in protein and put the fat on which is what the deer want and need for winter, wet stuff and mating season. Which is hunting season.
