Bucks Fighting....
 

Did anyone see Shockey's show where someone had filmed 2 bucks (both good shooters) and a third, even bigger buck came crashing into the 2 already fighting?

It was amazing. The footage looked to be from about 75-100yds away. Once the brute crashed into them, the brute and one of the other deer tagged team the 3rd deer and had him pinned to the ground. They also ran him into a fence. I thought the deer was dead because he didn't get up for awhile. Once he did, his left hind leg was badly broken. The hunter passed the camera to someone else in an attempt to get his gun and shoot the wounded deer but the brute went after him again to finish him off and they disappeared into the brush. That was the end of the footage. Not sure of what the end result was.

Amazing video though!!!!

Saw that, and it was the most amazing deer video I've ever seen. Kind of redefines the term "dominant buck". Reminded me of a couple of jakes beating the tar out of a tom I'd just shot.

THAT WAS A WILD VIDEO. AT THE END THE SAID THEY TRACKED THE BUCK WITH THE BROKEN HIND AND PUT IT DOWN. NEVER DID SHOW THAT PART OF IT TO PROVE IT.

My father said that he saw a book full of stories about bucks fighting and locked bucks. One picture was of 3 dead bucks all locked together. Don't know how 3 bucks could manage to lock but they did! Didn't see the footage but it sounds awesome. If it was me I'd be shooting instead of filming!

I would have been too distracted to shoot. I would have liked to see how it played out as the people filming did.

Besides, after the brute chased down the wounded buck, the other of the 3 bucks was still out in the open. They could have taken him. All 3 were shooters from what I remember.

I sent an e-mail to Jim Shockeys website to see if they can post the video. If they do, I'll certainly let everyone know!!

I found another clip, not as dramatic as the one on Shockey's show but good nonetheless.
