Went awesome, only shot 2 deer but thats all I wanted... Filled all my tags, all 2 of them! :D

I didnt get anything this year. Did miss a 130 class buck with the bow (damn limb) but it was still a good year. Being out enjoying nature was still awesome.

almost impossible to fill all your tags here in Florida, but i did shootmy biggest buck to date this year. so i say this year was great!

Well between me and the tags that the for other guys that I hunt with we killed 8 mule deer(2 bucks), 3 whitetails(2 bucks), 3 moose(1 bull), and 1 bull elk so it was a amazing year for us. Between all of us we didn't fill 4 elk tags and 2 whitetail tags.

not bad for me one deer (8-point) one bear 300lbs+ and two hogs to go along with a big pile of squirrels

Had to work around health problems and couldn't get out as much asI'd have likedbut managed to get a nice 10 point (110"), a good9
point (117'), and 5 does. Still a couple of weeks and a few tags left!

Tooka spike w/ the bow and 2 doe with the shotgun.
I did not recover a doe with the bow (trust me... we looked and looked and looked). We lost her in a lake.
I missed a nice big 8 w/ the muzzleloader.
I passed on many other does.
All in all, it was a good season as far as Massachusetts goes. I had my opportunity and messed it up. Saw lots of deer though.

Harvested an 8 point in archery and a doe in rifle season. Still had 2 doe tags left but that leaves 2 more for next year. I have plenty of venison for this year.

It was my first full season. I just startedhunting at the end of last season. I shot4 deer this year. My first deer ever was a small 4 pointer then I shot a 3 pointer and then a doe. I saw on good buck but he busted me at 20 unshootable yards. :(This was with the bow. I shot another doe with the shot gun.
On Long Island here you can shoot four bucks and unlimited does. In order toget the extra buck tags you have toshoot two does and in turn you get an either sex tag for each.I did let alot of deer pass.

I have filled one tag with a regular 10 pointer. I shot him cause he had a 3 inch drop tine.I've killed 7 hogs including two small ones with one shot.My season has two moreweeks to go so I'm hoping I can fill another tag.

I had eight mule deer tags. I filled six and am going down this week to try and fill the other two. I have until Jan. 8th.

Bitter-Sweet. I ended up killing 4. 3 does with a bow and one spike with my gun. I hit a spike early in the season, but could not find it. I think I hit him too high int he shoulder.[&o]

I missed a big 10 point...........20 yards..........broadside............[:@][:@][:@]. I shot about 1/4 inch inder him!!!!!!!

Al in all I spent a lot of time in the woods with my dad, brother and nephew. Great memories and a wonderful time. Better than working anyday!!!!

22 so far. three 8 points and 19 antlerless. also got 1 coyote, i turkey gobbler and 2 red foxes. have until 3-25-06 to bow hunt does--but im stopping this saturday. for the last month or so i only hunt with friends who will take any deer i kill. i dont have any more room in my freezer.

i got a 5pt and a nice doe....my cuz was a lucky one this year..he got 2 8points with a 125 average score on them

Not too bad for me. I passed on several younger bucks during bowseason. I ended up taking a nice 11 pointer with my bow and a doe. Saw3 other monsters during bow season.

2 does during gun season and passed on a bunch of young bucks. Only saw one big mature buck during gun season that was running about mach 10 through a cut corn field.

My biggest disappointment is the biggest buck I've seen in years around my land made it through the end of gun season only to get hit by a Honda Civic the day after the last day of gun season. I saw that dude 3 times during bowseason. Had him at 40 yards at one point. Too bad someone couldn't put a tag on him.

Never did get a shot at bigfoot either.

I can honestly say that I had the chance to fire a shot at 1 doe this year and it was a fronal shot that I missed with my muzzleloader. The woods are thick here and I wanted some meat. I saw other deer during the season on 2 occassions, but was not presented with a shot because of branches or I couldn't tell what it was because of cover. So my first deer season hunting the Jefferson Nat. Forest here in VA has been dissappointing for me considering how much time I spent in the woods. I was out yesterday and the weather was perfect, but I didn't see a single deer. Between work and family I don't get enough time to hunt and that bothers the hell out of me.

One point of optimism for this season is that I'm learning to bowhunt and I bought 42 acres of land that I'm going to plant food plots on. I like to hunt but when I spend 9 hours in the woods and don't get anything it makes me feel like I wasted time that could be been better spent doing something else productive. When I have my food plots in place I expect to spend 3 hours on stand and get a deer. That is my goal for the '06 deer season. This is coming from a guy who spend nearly 50 hours in the woods this season.

Hunted a lot during bow season and 5 days during shotgun season. Only 2 deer to date, but I have the winter permit season to bow and shotgun hunt until middle of February. I'd like to get one more. It was a so-so year in my books.

3 doe and 1 nice 8-point so far. Season ends on the 15th. Limit is six in a season.

This is the first year in many that I didn't fill any tags. Oh well it was still a blast. My wife got 2 which was awesome!
