I've used the Hornady SST .270 for 6 years and don't plan on changing. I've killed 4 deer and about 15 hogs with them and none have taken a step. Of course, I shoot the hogs in the head as I have no desire to chase after them in our thick South Texas Brushland. Last year I shot a deer at 310 yards and dropped him on his tracks. The other deer, I got him at 350 and he took about 10 steps and dropped. The other 2 were hit at about 150, and didn't take a step. Allanimals have hadpass throughs.

You can come to the reloading section and We will even talk to You about deer hunting. Some of Your best deer hunters re load there own amo !! And Yes the Hornady SST's work well on deer, pick Your caliber !!!
