ORIGINAL: 121553 RH, I've teased a many buck by pissin in there scrap, but they don't know if its another buck or a coyote. I really don't think a deer can differentiate between human piss and any other animal piss. If I sat in my stand and didn't see any bucks, I might conclude that it may have an effect, but I've had some nice bucks come right to the tree I'm in and didn't see any reaction other than a sniff or a wiff. I have seen some pretty stupid bucks during the rut in my lifetime and some I could of thrown a brick at them and they would ignore me. You can buy the spare bladder pouchs that easliy fold up in your pack. When you have to go pee, open upthe pouch and pee,the stuff in the pouch turns your pee into a gel form and throw back in your pack until you get home, then throw out. I'm nopt sure if effects the deer or not, but why take the chance.

Since I'm a Lab Tech, I just grab a 24 hour urine collection container from the lab and put that in my pack before I head out to my stand. It is large enough that I can use it all day, and I don't have to worry about mixing up my drink/urine bottles while on stand.

I usually go right off the edge of the stand(make sure the wind doesn't blow it back on you[:'(]). I've always continued to see day the rest of the day and this year I shot my biggest buck of the year when he came in downwind 2hrs after I went. He was standing at 12yds. Can they smell it?...Of course. Does it bother them? I really don't think so. I don't think a deer knows what human pee smells like unless one sees you go and then runs right up and takes a big whiff. I guess then they could run around and tell their friends:D:D:D

I use a dry roasted peanut bottle. Large opening!
