Burn I can take it my friend ... I love to razz and for the most part don't mind to be razzed if its just for fun .... I bet you and I are one of the very few to ever hunt with an Allen ..I bet these so called "Bow Hunters" dont have a clue what or who Allen was without looking it up. Good luck to you and I hope you have a killer year !

I never shot anything bigger than a hog with an allen. If memory serves me right, it was a loud bow with all the wheels and stings it had. I did draw on a doe once, but that load bow ran her off. My second bow was a black bear (pre whitetail 2 bow) and it was much quiter bow than my allen, and that is saying something. Black bears were squeaky things.

Yep it was about as loud as the old Oneida Screaming Eagle ...for those of you "Bowman" that may not know "Allen" was the one who patented the compound bow and even though it was a faster bow then the old recurve it was LOUD... just so some of you "young" pups will know who we are referring to..

congrats doctor D, always glad to hear of someone's harvest, just makes me more excited to go out the next time.and if you read between the lines youcan actually learn from the successes, and by the way nothing there is wrong with boasting a little, and the people who say they dont boastat all ongood kill, must havea loose asss because that lie slipped out. half the posts on this site about hunting are people "boasting" about something they are happy about. me included. again congrats

I think the mfg. all 2 wheeled compound bows actuallyhave to pay a royalty to allen for the pattent. They were the first.
