Rifle Scopes
Which of the lower end rifle scopes do you like best Simmons, Tasco, or Bushnell? The price range would be about $30.00 to $50.00.

RE: Rifle Scopes
i believe all of the lower end companies are improving on their optic's quality but as you said "lower end". i'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". i use to waste alot of money on lower end optics trying to get a "bargain" on a good scope but i have learned that they just don't hold up and do not stay zero'd in. i would suggest you hold out on buying an optic and save until you can afford a better one (leupold, nikon, zeiss, etc.).

spent some more money and get a bushnell trophy scope.

RE: Rifle Scopes
The Bushnell Trophy would be a better choice for a little more.

RE: Rifle Scopes
I found I could hit a rock further with a Tasco than I could with a Simmons.

RE: Rifle Scopes
What size was the rock, and were you throwing them with your right hand or left???

RE: Rifle Scopes
What about the tasco world class are these any good?

RE: Rifle Scopes
ORIGINAL: stubblejumper I would rather throw a cheap simmons.tasco or bsa than have to use it on my rifles.:) ![]() ![]() ![]() |
RE: Rifle Scopes
i would go with a bushnell. I use one on a 7mm mag and it is very accurate and stands up to the recoil of the rifle very well. after lining the scope i have shot probably two boxes of shells through th gun and it has kept its zero. The one i have costs around 75 bucks, its a 4-12x40 with an adjustable objective. Look into it i think you willl like it.
