198" Buck!!!!
#23

i just got a buck fawn this past spring. he's growing up to be quite healthy. my main reason for doing this is strictly research. it is fun and pretty neat to watch a young buck grow, as long as he is in a healthy environment. he's about a 100lb button buck now and he loves when i come into the pen. i use my hand to push him back by the head and bull him around simulating 2 buttons and their usual horseplay. he has a blast. now when he gets his first set of antlers, he's going to have to find a small tree to play with

At a more reasonable price buying a deer like this to improve the gene pool on your farm wouldn't be a bad idea. The idea of shooting him is ridiculous, however. And before anyone says that relocating genes isn't a "natural" thing to do, keep in mind that most states int he US had to relocate deer in years past to re-establish deer herds and that our CURRENT deer population is hardly the original gene pool from a geographic standpoint.
I sure would like to have that deer's genes flowing all around where I hunt!
