DD, Hook 'em horns!
CD, if all goes well here at work, I'm going to be looking for a Hill Country lease for next season! We'll have to hook up before then!
Merry Christmas all!

Frank,
That would be great. I have called the Llano county Hunters information bureau in the past. I think that is what it was called. It is kind of like a hunters want add for landowners who lease out their "pastures." Of course what they call "pastures" are theprime hilly mesquite and scrub oakland that we are talking about.

The hard part for me was getting away early in the year to kind of look at the land before the actual hunt week in the fall. I would love to have a place to go every year, and really learn the lease. The one we had was about 1100 acres in Kingsland Texas. We had 8 hunters each year. I love that part of the country. The land we had bordered some of LBJ's property, and they say he used to take CIA agents deer hunting out there.
