I'm 49 and have shot 62 deer. 37 bucks 25 does. 20 bucks with a bow, 12 of those gross between 125 and 183. 7 make P & Y. First deer was a 6 pt. at 12 yrs old in 1968 with a recurve and a running shot at 15 yds.

dangifiknow....best guess is about 250...most with rifle (22-250 and .243)
maybe 30 or so with a bow, about 35 with a muzzleloader (most with a .54 flinter that I finished in 1990) and 30 or so with a shotgun using both slugs and buckshot....I'm 50 and started culling does on our farms when I was pretty young...

I havnt really kept count but I would say around45 so far. I'm 27 been hunting for 15 years 1 or 2 a year growing up in PA. Moved to MD 5 years ago and have been averagingaround 6 per year. Good year this year 4 bucks 7 doe. Of those 45 probaly half bow, half rifle/ML.

I'm 49 and have shot 138 deer
69 with the bow
60 with a rifle, shotgun or inline
9 with a flinlock
8 of them were bucks over 110" with 3 pope and young qualifiers, biggest was 152" Al those havebeen in the last 10 years

I'm 28 and I have 38 deer killed, haven't shot much the last few years as I have been very selective. I have 14 with a bow, 18 with a blackpowder, and 6 with modern firearms.

I am afraid the number would be looked on as being "careless with the truth.
." My first deer season was in 1956. I had shot some deer before that but there was no deer season then and we shot them with the .22 when we wanted meat. One stretch when the population was high, I had eleven tags. Thats the most I have ever taken in a season. I have had sixteen tags the last two years combined and have two left to harvest. One year I only shot one. Thats the least. Although there is no way I can remember them all, I would estimate 5-6 per year for those 49 years.
I have been head over heelshooked on hunting since Grandpa got me my first Daisey when I was six. We had a big family and ate all we hunted.

I think I am gonna have to move to a state like Alabama to boost my total. I cant hunt againuntil a week in January when I can try to fill my last doe tag withthe muzzleloader. In the meanwhile The good Doctor is in Alabama killing a deer a day.
I am 38, and I have only killed 13 deer. If I had not gone to college, and spent most of the years in my 20's working and trying to find a wife, I would have a much larger number. I married at 29 years old, and now I have settled down to a life of work, and hunting when I can.
