Nikon Pro Staff vs. Buckmaster

I ordered a Nikon Pro Staff off the internet and they were sold out. So they are sending me a Buckmaster 3-9x40 for the same price. Mu question is what is the difference between the to. Is the Buckmaster alot better, the price was about $50 difference.

Thanks

I have a Nikon buckmaster and I can't really tell you the difference but I love mine. I think I paid $219.00 + $50 for the Leupold rings and mounts.

I have the Pro Staff and I love it, but I really don't think that you will even be able to tell any difference. Nikon makes great scopes all around.

Nikon makes several grades of scopes. I have at least 1 of each, and they are all fine scopes.

Their entry level is the Pro Staff, followed by the Buckmasters, the Monarch and the Titanium, at the top of their line. All are comparable to or better than anything else in their price range, in my opinion, and are good values for the price.

I have a buckmaster on one gun and the Prostaff on another. I really cannot tell the difference. They are both great scopes for the $$. I think I will continune to buy the Prostaff's.
