Is the rut in around Uvalde Texas?

Does anyone know if the rut has already happened around Uvalde or if it is yet to happen. I've seen some sign, but it doesn't seem to have happened yet. Anyone out there know anything?

My uncle hunted out there this weekend, said he saw sign of it, doesn't know if it was full-out yet though...
