Picture of big Illinois buck
I thought I would show this picture of a big Illinois buck killed somewhere around West Union. I guess a local guy walked 200 yards out his back door and killed this buck he had seen several times. I don't have any specifics but he is something to be proud of!

can remember who the guy was that shot it but for the first few day there was rumors goin around that it is 44 point then the next day only 38, it turned out as only havein 27 scoreable point adn if u counted the nubs and stuff that didnt cout it was lik 31 i think. my dad has hear that he has been offerd by cabelas, gander mountain and bass pro, but he declined them, then there is some guy out by indianapolis indiana that offered him somethin lik 50,000 for it. but i dont know if he took up on hte offer or not. One of the girls at school who seen the thing said that it had a pretty small body on it compared to the antler size.
