what are the different kinds of mounts you can get? i know you can cut the antlers off and make a plaque, which looks good for smaller 6 or 8 point bucks. What are the other kinds of mounts? European????

I would say a plaque for what you want a eruropean somtimes make antlers look smaller but not always case

A European mount looks cool. Leave the antlers attached to the skull and remove all the flesh. Either boil or bleach the remaining bits of flesh off the skull. Or I guess you could let nature take its course to get the hide off(insects & such). Anyway, the point is to have a bleach white skull when done. Keep the antlers their natural color. Attach the skull to a board or plaque or just hang it on the wall.

very cool...so european is when you have the skull still with antlers on it....what are they called when you have the neck and face still all there...just like a wall mount of someting?

Neck and face still there? Sounds like it was found after the buzzards and maggots got through eatin it..........[:'(]

Shoulder mounts or head mounts are what they are called.
