Default MN STATE RECORD 221 NON-TYPICAL

Quote: Brandon Bernu of New York Mills shot this 20-point buck with a muzzle loader rifle Saturday south of Mills. The deer scored a 221 non-typical for a new state record?

I'd be very curious the age of that buck, given how a lot of his hair has lightened up the way it did. Fantastic looking buck, only 30 minutes from me. Thats gotta be one proud S.O.B...

The forks one the one side resemble those of a mule deer. Wonder if there was any cross breeding or if its just the deer's genes? Anyway EXELLENT BUCK!

Mitch thats a good question ...the buck I took last year in Alberta has some mulie traits about him ..Ive had several people who saw him in person say he looked like he might have had a little mulie blood in him.
