If I had the money, Ziess. Other wise I like the Aetecs, Bushnell Trohpy and 32OO's, and the Cabela's Alaskan guide series scopes. I wouldn't turn down a BSA catseye or Panther either.

I have three Leupold VariX III 3.5-10x 40mm and one Leupold VX III 3.5-10x 40 mm. I love them. Others may be brighter, but I can still target game when it is too dark for me to identify gameso it isn't a benefit to me.

If price is not a consideration then Zeiss, Swarovski and Smitt & Bender are among the top of the class. Redfeild is not an elite scope.
