Typical VS. Non-Typical

Why are there more typicals than non? How does a typical get all freaky looking? Nutrition? Genetics? Kinda odd

RE: Typical VS. Non-Typical

Well I've seen a couple pics on here of buck with missing feet, limbs. They always have a non-typical side opposite the wounded limb! I shot a non-typical 11 point, it had no visible wounds, but I took a couple that were uneven or palmated in same area. There was a junk yard near, they could have chipped, broke ankles or something on junk car parts, who knows? I do think in the mid-west where mulies and whitetail breed this mightcause non-typicals also.

I guess I've always assumed it was genetics, where we rifle hunt no one has ever seen or harvested a non typical deer but now that you ask I guess there could be a whole bunch of possiblities.
