RE: finding a man in your spot
That can be a touchy deal. Last year I caught two guys on my lease. This was around the time that the Wisconsin murders took place. Turns out, one of them was related to the land owner and claimed that he didn't know anyone had leased the property. I explained the situation to him, and they walked out with me. They looked about as nervous as I felt. On the bright side, somebody else thinks you have a pretty good spot!

Sounds to me like they left there stuff for their dogs to come back too. We always do it. If your dogs get lost, you leave a piece of clothing or something for them to come back too.

The scariest part would be not knowing exactly where another hunter is at, on eitherpublic, or private land!
Then, if its public land, theres not much to be done about it!
If its private land, confrontations with armed trespassers can get dangerous! You can choose to talk to the person, or maybe find a licence plate number, and turn them in.
If it is someone else that is a lease member, or has permission to hunt, you can probably talk to them, and resolve the situation. Most clubs/leases have rules about being in another members area, so you should be able to keep this from happening again.
