Why do some people think we need a law for everything?

While I don't think a law is necessary, there are a lot of hunters who lack etiquette and discretion that need a lesson or two. There's nothing wrong with showing off your kill............whenhe isup on the wall where he belongs. Parading a bloody carcass around town does nothing to promote hunting, only causing some of the people that sit on the fence (don't hunt yet not anti-) to jump off the fence in the wrong direction.

Another thing that annoys me to no end is when somebody shoots a deer and cleans it in the morning, then goes to town without cleaning up a little. Not everyone likes to see blood-stained clothes while they're eating. If you are going to represent hunters, do it right. Clean up and try to be a shining example of the population. And I'm certainly not saying there is anything wrong with camo. Wearing camo lets people know your a hunter. Just make sure to pack and extra shirt and some jeans so you can look half way presentable.

Edited for (mis)spelling.:)

How about outlawing taxidermy?
Like I said before, people are turning into weenies.
Let's start having compassion for terrorists too.
This self deprecating mentality is what is going to
bring down the American way of life.
This is utter nonsense.

i agree!!! if this were the case i would be in big trouble considering that i would have to drive through public places with the animal in my truck and skin it in process it in my back yard. i don't have anywhere else to do it.

Buck Knife, that pic is great! The deer is not so small, that's gotta be a pretty strong dude.

Even though I don't see much hear to lobby for such a bill....

I can garantee you Red would have plenty to push this bill to the front of the line. I can just see the anti gun crowd jump on this one. CNN, would treat this likethe 25-50 people in a ditch in Crawford Texas who associated themselves with that looney woman who is disgracing her fallen son.

Red would become famous.

Don't get me wrong Red. I am not associating you with that looney woman, but the News Media, and the anti's which you have already admitted are a hopeless cause would treat you like a king.

I voted no of course..it is legal to kill deer right? I've had hunting shows on ESPNall this morning watching them shoot holes through animals with bullets and arrows. Wonder how many more kids see that on cartoon day or anti hunters while flicking channels while searching for the quilting channel than see a dead deer being hauled home or hanging from a tree in someone's yard? My point is..who cares..if you don't like what you see don't look or flick it.

Mine have been transported in the back of my Explorer uncovered , it's nobody's damned business but mine and the check station's . Killing is part of hunting , if somebody is offended by that then they should just not look .

RE: Legislation to ban "Dead Deer in Public View"

Making it illegal to have a dead deer in public would be implying that there is something wrong or immoral with hunting in the first place.
This is on the same level as not being politically correct to say
"Merry Christmas" but rather "Happy Holidays".
Why don't we just make it wrong to display a nativity scene too.
Oh, wait, that has already happened.

Hold on let lift my jaw off the ground. What and world is going on these days. Yes people should use common sense, but don't cross the line to the other side and try passing bills. Ya might have to much time on your hands.
