We keep the Florida secret!! Most people confuse the fact that Key deer are so small, that all Florida deer are along that same line. There are true monsters that live in the deep dark swamps, if you are willing to search for them. I am more than proud of this deer I just got, but I have seen deer taken withracks that would fit two of his inside of them and another 75lbs of body weight easy!!!

yeah it's definately a misconception that all florida deer are small. my mind was changed this year after finding out about the big deer killed back in the swamps. in florida it just takes time for them to grow that big since in most areas there isn't too much nutrients. but they can definately get quite large.
