My season so far
 

Here's my rifle season so far:

Wed morning: Saw a big 12 pntr for 5 seconds, couldn't get a shot
Wed evening: Passed taking a tough shot on a 10+ pntr with kickers, only to take a tougher walking shot between trees, missed him...got a tree. Dad got a decent 7pntr though
Thur morning: Saw a big 8 pntr but couldn't get a shot
Thur evening: Saw nothing
Fri morning: Saw several deer...but too dark before shooting time
Fri evening: Saw nothing
Saturday morning: Missed 250+ yd shot at a big 8pntr, got a doe though...glad to have meat in the freezer
Saturday evening: Passed taking a jogging 250+ yd shot at another 8pntr, interstingly he was hot on the trail of 6 does that had just passed through. Didn't think the rut was still on.

keep at it kansasdeerhunter, you still got plenty of time. And by the way, I talked to my family and my best freind back there, last night. The does that didn't get bred during the primary rut must be coming back into season, as my best friend and his family witnessed 5 bucks chasing one doe, and all of them where large bucks!
