bleat cans
 

hey all whast up I hunt in Ct and I was wondering if anyone is using blaeat cans still or is it to late to be using calls? Thanks

it's never to late to try. when i use mine i don't let the whole sound of the bleat out. i cut the sound 1/4-1/2 off. someone on this board said that a drawn out bleat the cans produce is more of a warning sound. i folllow up the bleats with some soft drawn out tending grunts from my grunt tube. worked this year on a 6 pointer. good luck bro.

All they do in the UP are attract wolves....and that is with only bleating about 1/4 of the can.

Have used it, but the Fawn Bleat is acertain death on does. I use it more than the Doe Bleat!

I agree with Reb ...a fawn bleat brings in the doe's ...the regular ole Bleat can seems to work well on coons and skunks arounf here :eek:

Trout,you can always use a call.Deer "talk"to each other all the time.The best call to learn is the doe grunt,all deer have mothers.It's her "come here"call.

I use the bleat can right before the rut. After that I put it away. Just my experiences with the can. Arrowmaster
