a few pics from central texas last two weeks
 

The first 15 or so pics in the album were taken the last couple of weeks at our lease. the first buck is an older 8pt that i am thinking is probably 4.5 and needs to go. the next few are of a nice 3.5 year old 8pt and what used to be a 3.5 year old 10 pt until he busted off his G4 on his left side. I am really hoping both of those young deer make it another year or two. I have seen a few older deer but nothing I to shoot yet. i will probably start looking for a cull in the next couple of weeks. I saw a 5.5 or 6.5 year old 8pt early in the season that really needs out of the pasture.

I am hoping to see something better or will try to take one of the older culls in the next week or so. I hunt a day or two a week since it is close. We are in Bell county. I just hope the 3.5 year olds make it through the season. They should might be nice next year.

The only parts of Bell county that I have seen have been from I-35. Did not realize that they had that good of a deer population. Good luck and if it was me I would have shot the older deer that was over in the brush...LOL.
