Contraversy Shhhhhh!

I know that some of us are taking opposite stances on many of the recent issues here, but really, that is what this forum is about! There is a subect, or two, that probably should not be argued in a public forum, and if you are doing something illegal, this is certainly not the place to brag about it!
But, for the most part, using the argument " don't be contraversial," or "it'll give the anti's ammo," is not a great point!
First, the anti's don't NEED anything from us as "ammo!" Their argument is not "reasonable" in the first place! They do not use sound "reason!" They use an emotional opinion, that is not based on facts anyway!
Second, the very basis of a hunting forum, is to learn from others experiences, post our successes, and failures, and also, to discuss hunting in general! If the subject is contraversial, then thats just part of it!
This IS the place to discuss it!

I don't mind either. If I am not interested I just don't click on it or follow it. I checked out the "deer in plain veiw" thread when it first started. After it got to be more than two pages long I let it go and haven't looked at it since. Just not that interesting to me. However everyone is entitled to thier opinion.

That is what these boards are for in my opinion, do discuss things and learn other peoples points of view. We do learn alot along the way though. However you need to take everything you hear with a grain of salt.

And we have people from all over the states, and world in some cases. You have to remember that opinions and views vary from location to location.

Just to shake things up Tut23 I'll post. Ha, now that is 2 southern boys in a row. That is what I like about this forum and that is what it is for! To discuss deer hunting.:DExcluding the name calling I think there is a lot to be learned from those arguments and debates. Getting pissed won't help and good point Jag about the anti's and their stupid arguments.

Not to get all serious.......but I just hope everyone involved in that thread shares the same opinion and are just as passionate when it comes to protecting our rights to keep our guns. "PC is not for me", "Don't care what anyone thinks", "I'm not changing for anyone else" is ok for some things, but we have to remember the pretense to any huntingdiscussion is the right to have something to hunt with.
