I paid $150 for the first mount I had done. The second was $375. There is no comparison in the quality of the work. As others have said, look at their work, find out how long they have been in business, and get references if you can. You will be looking at that deer head for many years to come. You might as well make it something you are happy to look at.

$375.00 in Roanoke, Va. This guy has been doing it for 30+ years and he does great work.

DotorDeath: I may try to shorten the process a bit and see if he would like all the money upfront. Good idea!

I just paid $ 300 for mine.

Dr. D. great suggestion on paying up front. How much time were you able to save doing that?

$450 for me in NY. The guy does awesome work and is nationally recognized for his mounts. You can get them as cheap as $150 if you want.
