Sister's First Buck, (10 Point)

My sister Angie shot her first buck this year. Taken with a Browning BAR, 130 yards. He dropped on the spot. I had pics of him early this year then he kind of disappeared. I'm glad he came back. He's 10 points, 16" inside spread, probably gross in the 110-115" range. Great first buck!

Congrats to your sister!
Very nice pics.
I found that if you want to pose the deer that way,
you better do it quick before old Rigor Mortise shows up.
He ruins alot of pictures...that guy.
Beautiful job!

Livbucks, you can use rigormortis to your advantage. As soon as you can, put the deer a position with which you want it to be in for your photos. Preferably as natural a position as possible. Sometimes after folding all of the legs under, I'll either use a bungee cord or a rope to hold the head up and into position. Good thing about living in Wisconsin is that not only will rigormortis hold the deer in position, but freezing temperatures do as well.
